This… Is… Guncraft!

So this is it! Our big holiday announcement!

Guncraft is our new project. Progenitor has been quite the prolonged experience for us here at EGS, so we made a hard, executive decision to put it on hold while we work on something more manageable and to be honest, this game has created more fun in the office than Progenitor ever did. We are extremely excited about Guncraft and we really hope you guys enjoy it as much as we have been. You might be thinking "Well how am I supposed to enjoy it if you won't let me play it now?" Well simple. We have an Alpha and Beta program coming VERY soon. Alpha will start in early January, beta will start in late January, early February.

The difference between Alpha and Beta will be that Alpha is going to be a lot more rough around the edges with some lag and bugs (hopefully minor if we did our job right, but we can't stress test with only 4 computers), but we will compensate with freebies/rewards to those of you who give us useful feedback. Both Alpha and Beta will be free to enter into to, but both will be very limited and Beta invites will be favored for those of you who pre-order the game.

We have two more big announcements (besides all the features we will be announcing as time progresses) coming in early January as well. I will just say as a hint to one that it will be a great way to really get a piece of Guncraft for yourself. We really want to reward you guys for being awesome, so keep checking back for more updates on that. The other you will just have to wait and see about. I will hopefully have one gameplay update for you by the end of the week, but we will see, since we are very busy getting things ready for Alpha.

Lastly, the official forum will be launched when alpha starts, so you'll have somewhere to talk bugs, balance, troll, or anything really.

Seriously, thank you guys for the positive feedback we've gotten for our pre-reveal "leak." It's very nice to see people so interested in playing the game even though you know very little about the specific details.
